It's done though. And I'm OK with it. I think once it's quilted it will be very pretty.
In the end I decided to use the striped fabric as sashing rather than borders for the blocks. This involved some seam ripping but made it a more manageable size.
Now I just have to decide on a border.

LOVE it Anina! That is beautiful!
I LOVE IT!!!! Infact, I might spend my birthday money on the fabric from your store. Fingers crossed I get some eh???
When I saw your other post about the huge blocks, I thought that's what you would do. Such fun and bright holiday quilt. I love stripes for bindings too.
I thought you might turn that into sashing! Great job! I think maybe I'd border it in an aqua print, and bind in a red print, but I do love me some aqua/red :)
It's so pretty!
I had been wondering for a while what to do with my panel too. I love how you have used these as blocks. Such a great idea!
It looks soooo cute! Great idea!
Hugs,

Loving how it turned out!!
i have a quilt that had monster blocks too-- seems like it goes forever even though you are making less blocks. mysterious.
The striped sashing is awesome! This will be a fabulous to-snuggle-under quilt for sure!
